Come, Follow Me — Christmas
Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon 2024 (December 23–29)
Years ago, when I was an undergraduate at BYU my life changed when I heard a psychologist present her research findings on what resilient people do when faced with life challenges. From that time, my passion has been about learning and teaching others how to do hard better.
This year, that study was expanded to how to do hard divinely better, and all 50 lessons point to this conclusion:
Jesus is the answer.
Our dear prophet, Russell M. Nelson, confirms these findings:
“Whatever questions or problems you have, the answer is always found in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Learn more about His Atonement, His love, His mercy, His doctrine, and His restored gospel of healing and progression. Turn to Him! Follow Him!”
I testify that Jesus lives. He is our brother and because of His birth, His life, and His grand atoning sacrifice, we never need to go through hard alone. This is the plan we chose. There isn’t a moment in our lives when Jesus isn’t beside us, loving us, reaching out, and with intimate knowledge of what we need, pleading with us to, “Come, Follow Me”.
Wishing you a Happy New Year, filled with more Jesus, looking unto Him in every thought, doubting not, fearing not. (DC 6:36).
